If you or a family member is being cared for at home by a private individual – for example, by children, a spouse or a friend – you are eligible for financial support from us in the form of a care allowance.

The home care consultation should take place once every six months for those in care levels 2 to 5.
If the home care consultation is not carried out, the care allowance will be reduced after we have sent you a single reminder. If the home care consultation does not take place in the following six-month period either, we will be unable to continue paying the care allowance.
