Rehabilitation sports include gymnastics, athletics, swimming and group movement games. Other rehabilitation sports include exercises to boost self-confidence in disabled women and girls and those at risk of becoming disabled. Karate, judo and relaxation exercises are also well-suited to rehab.
Functional training also helps you with illnesses or functional limitations of the organs of support and motion. It targets the muscles and joints by means of physiotherapy and ergotherapy, allowing you to improve your physical functions and counteract loss of function in individual organ systems or body parts. Types of training include water-based or regular gymnastics in the form of group exercises.

What costs does SBK cover?
We will cover all the costs of the prescribed rehabilitation sport or functional training. There are no costs for you. The facility will bill us directly. You don't need to worry about anything else.
How to get rehabilitation sport and functional training:
Together with your doctor, you decide on the type and duration of rehabilitation sport or functional training. After a detailed discussion, you will then receive a medical prescription from your doctor's surgery.
You then simply present the doctor's prescription and your SBK healthcare card at a recognised facility of your choice. You can then start your rehabilitation sport or functional training there.
It is no longer necessary to obtain our authorisation before starting the service. This applies to the first prescription and to all subsequent prescriptions issued by your doctor.
