Vaccinations for adults
Important information on the topic of vaccinations
Are measles and influenza really harmless? Is my tetanus vaccination still up to date? Many people ask themselves these questions. One thing, however, is certain: vaccinations protect against serious illnesses. That’s why we recommend checking your vaccination record regularly – especially as an adult. This helps you ensure that you are always optimally protected.
Another important point: as you get older and in certain life situations, additional vaccinations often become useful. The Standing Committee on Vaccination (STIKO) specifies which vaccinations are recommended at which age, and we follow these recommendations.
Accordingly, we cover all costs for recommended vaccinations and regular boosters.

How to receive reimbursement
To process your reimbursement request quickly, for example, for travel vaccinations, we need all necessary documentation. Simply upload your doctor’s bill, pharmacy receipt, and the vaccine prescription in the Meine SBK app. Alternatively, you can send your documents by post. You can find our address and a prepaid envelope on our website.
How to get vaccinated
Make an appointment with your family doctor and bring your vaccination record to the appointment. Your doctor will advise you on the recommended vaccinations and boosters and will administer the vaccinations.
We cover the costs for all vaccinations recommended by STIKO; presenting your SBK healthcare card at the doctor’s office is sufficient.
