Supplementary preventive care insurance

Preventive examinations are important for detecting diseases and health risks at an early stage. That is why we cover the costs of all medically necessary and appropriate treatments in the areas of preventive care and vaccinations. If you wish to do more, you can also take advantage of individual health services, known as IGeL services. These services are not covered by statutory health insurance. This means that you pay for them privately. You can cover the costs of these services with supplementary preventive care insurance.

With the SBK preventive care extra tariff, you receive preventive medical checkups for early cancer detection, pregnancy, or general preventive care. These include, for example, individual health services such as glaucoma screening to detect glaucoma, the PSA test for early detection of prostate cancer, or the Helicobacter pylori test for early detection of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.
