Protective travel vaccinations – your SBK benefits

For private trips abroad, we will cover the full cost of travel vaccinations.

You benefit from a genuine 100% reimbursement, as you do not have to observe an annual maximum amount. We also waive reductions in vaccination fees and co-payments.

SBK Overseas Consulting will advise you free of charge on relevant topics concerning your travel abroad, such as the recommended vaccinations for your destination country.

You can have your vaccination confirmed in your bonus booklet to get a bonus through the SBK Bonus Scheme.

What costs does SBK cover?

We reimburse 100 % of the doctor’s fee for the vaccination as well as 100 % of the costs of the vaccine. The doctor’s fee includes a medical examination and vaccination advice. The doctor determines whether you can be vaccinated and explains the potential risks and side effects of vaccination. Travel-specific vaccination advice, i.e. information on which vaccinations are recommended for specific destination countries, is not meant here. Such a consultation is a private service – also known as a personalised health care service – and must be paid for by you.

Usually the employer is responsible for business travel, or in the case of charity or volunteer work, the corresponding aid organisation is responsible.

How to get protective travel vaccinations

If you need a travel vaccination, your first port of call is ideally your general doctor. They can usually provide all common travel vaccinations. Only in exceptional circumstances will you need to go to a vaccination centre or travel health clinic.

Invoice reimbursement:

After receiving your vaccination, simply upload the vaccine prescription (private prescription) and the invoices for your travel vaccinations to the Meine SBK app and indicate your destination country. Please also indicate that this is a private trip abroad. Alternatively, you can send the documents by post: You can find our address and a prepaid envelope here.
