Vaccinations are one of the most effective means of preventing infectious diseases. Not only do they protect the individuals concerned, but they also lead to a wider reduction in diseases across the population as a whole. This section of the website is designed to answer the most frequently asked questions regarding vaccinations. SBK bears the costs of the vaccinations recommended by the Standing Committee on Vaccination (STIKO), including those for flu vaccinations and the tick-borne encephalitis vaccine (FSME) for everyone. We even cover the majority of the costs associated with travel vaccinations.
