The Appointments Service can organise a doctor’s appointment that suits you

The quickest way to take advantage of our Appointments Service is online. Simply enter your insurance number, date of birth and the details regarding your preferred specialist and appointment time in the online form.

We will take a look at your preferred appointment details as soon as we have received your form. You will receive the appointment details from us within three working days either over the phone, by text message or email – whichever you prefer.

Benefits are reimbursed directly to your account via bank transfer.

Would you like to set up a SEPA direct debit mandate?
It couldn’t be easier to transfer your contributions on time, every time. We will be happy to make sure your contributions always reach us in good time and are debited directly. All you have to do is contact your personal consultant.

Has your name changed?
Your name appears on your electronic health care card. To allow us to send out your new card as quickly as possible, please let us know your new name and remember to provide the official proof of this change. Your existing card remains valid until you receive the new one.

Have you moved house and do you now have a new address?
Your address appears on your electronic health care card. We will automatically send a new card directly to your address once your details have been changed. Your existing card remains valid until you receive the new one.

Has your telephone number or email address changed? Or perhaps you haven’t yet provided us with any contact details?
Let us know your landline number, mobile number and email address. It is important to ensure your email address is always up to date if you would like to use your personal online self-service branch, Meine SBK.

As an employee, you normally have to provide your employer with a certificate of incapacity for work from your doctor if you are off sick for three days or more. This part of the certificate does not include any information relating to your diagnosis.

All you have to do is send the part of the certificate intended for your health insurer to the following address within a week of it being issued:

Don’t forget: we can only issue your sick pay if we receive your certificate of incapacity for work within the specified time of one week. This is especially important if your employer does not continue to pay your salary for the next six weeks.
