My processes

The status of your submitted processes at a glance

In Meine SBK, you can see the status of your submitted processes and requests at a glance under My processes. It shows you on a daily basis whether your case is open, received, in process, canceled or processed. Very convenient - you save yourself the time of writing an e-mail or calling your personal SBK consultant to find out the processing status of your request.

What does which status mean?

Your processes will receive this status if your request was submitted via Meine SBK. You will be shown this status immediately after submitting a form or uploading a document or invoice. At this point, the process has not yet been received by your personal consultant.

As soon as your process has been received by your personal SBK consultant, the status will be updated to received. We will take care of your request shortly.

If this status is displayed, your request is being processed. You will receive feedback on your submitted process shortly.

If this status is displayed, we need further information from you. We will inform you directly under the status display which specific details we need from you. For example, a current photo for your SBK healthcare card, your current address or other documents.

You will receive this status when your request has been fully processed. A corresponding reply will be sent to you shortly.

If this status is displayed, your transaction has been canceled. There may be various reasons for this:

  • You have submitted a transaction for a family member. This is displayed directly for your relative.
  • Or you have submitted a transaction that was initially considered to be a different transaction. This has been corrected manually and you will now see the correct case in My processes. Example: Instead of an osteopathy invoice, it was an invoice for a vaccination.
  • Is the missing transaction an eAU? Then your doctor has canceled your eAU. If you have any questions, please contact the doctor's office.
  • My processes - your SBK benefits:

  • Save valuable time by quickly viewing the current status of your process.
  • The status of forms that have been completed online and documents that have been uploaded can be viewed immediately.
  • Once a process has been completed, you will receive a response, directly on the same day if online post is activated in Meine SBK.
  • You have access to the processes of your family members under the age of 15 who have family insurance.

    Frequently asked questions

At present, the current processing status of 90 services can be tracked in My processes. We are constantly working on making the processing status of even more services available to you in My processes in the future.

Yes, in My processes you can also view the processes of your family-insured children under the age of 15. Children over the age of 15 can access their processes via their own Meine SBK account.

  • If you have submitted a document or form online by yourself, the time of the submission will be displayed.
  • For submissions by post, the date and time at which we digitized the document is displayed.
  • A completed or canceled process is displayed retroactively for two years in My processes. Of course, we ensure that the processes, the corresponding documents and other information are still stored in our internal systems for as long as permitted by law.

The submitted document is still being sent to us by post or it is not yet possible to view the status of this request in My processes.

Another possibility is that you have submitted a request for a relative. This will then be displayed for the family member concerned.

A further scenario is that it is a service for which we are not yet able to display the current processing status in My processes. In this case, you are welcome to use the “Share your feedback” button directly in My processes to let us know which request or service you would like to track in My processes.

Your doctor has the option of sending all eAUs at the end of a day at once.
As a rule, your eAU will be visible in My processes on the day after your doctor's visit.

If the transmission takes longer than one day, this may be due to technical problems at the doctor's surgery. Please ask them directly. If this is not the reason, please get in touch with your personal consultant or contact us using the contact or feedback form.

Please also note that only eAUs from October 2022 onwards will be displayed in My processes and all paper certificates of incapacity for work will also not be displayed.

There may be various reasons for this.

  • You have submitted a process for a family member. This is displayed directly for your relative.
  • Or you have submitted a process that was initially considered to be a different process. This has been corrected manually and you will now see the correct process in My processes. Example: Instead of an invoice for osteopathy, it is an invoice for a vaccination.
  • Is the missing process an electronic certificate of incapacity for work (eAU)? Then your doctor has canceled your eAU. If you have any questions, please contact the doctor's surgery.
  • The status in My processes is updated immediately when processing has been completed. Depending on the type of communication channel selected, it may take a short time (online mail) or sometimes a few days (letter) before you receive final feedback from us.

To do this, activate the “Updates on ongoing processes” item in the “Push notifications” section of the settings in Meine SBK. You will then receive push notifications as soon as the status of a process is updated.

If you have any questions about My processes, you are welcome to contact your personal SBK consultant or use the contact form, either in Meine SBK or here. You have another option directly in My processes via the “Share your feedback" button. You can use this to express ideas, suggestions or criticism, but also to ask questions.
