A total of 50,000 consumer opinions on more than 500 companies formed the basis of the study. SBK was awarded the German fairness prize again in 2018 alongside two other health insurers.
The panel survey focused on customers’ thoughts on value for money, reliability and transparency. This saw consumers assess the following: whether products and/or services are offered for a fair price based on their quality; whether a company keeps its promises, sticks to agreements and delivers on services as stated, including in terms of product and contractual performance; whether problems and complaints are dealt with fairly and whether prices, terms and conditions and information on products and/or services are transparent and easy to understand, without any hidden costs or similar.
