n-tv has joined forces with Deutsche Institut für Service-Quality (the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ)) to award the German service prize for the eighth time.
This year, SBK has come out on top in the special ‘Customer service rating’ category, which is judged by customers and mystery shoppers. What’s more, it was the only statutory health insurer amongst the winners.
The analysis was based on the results of 56 studies conducted by DISQ last year, with some 26,000 mystery shopper reports and customer surveys being used to assess a total of 585 companies. Thirty-nine of them were crowned this year’s winners thanks to their outstanding level of customer service.
SBK was rated as excellent by almost all of the people asked for their opinion, achieving the highest score for customer satisfaction as far as customer service is concerned. Customers were particularly impressed by how friendly staff were as well as the speed with which they got a response. The top scores in the comparison of providers were awarded for dependability and reliability. The health insurer also had the most customers declaring that they would recommend its services to others.
