German Service Award for SBK

The German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ) and news channel ntv have once again given awards to the service providers offering the best customer service in Germany.

It was the eleventh time that DISQ and ntv have presented the German Service Award.
SBK was one of the winning companies for the seventh time running. This year SBK won in the category ‘Service by telephone and email / Health and sport’ and was also the only statutory health insurance provider to win a prize in this category.

The German Service Award 2021 is given for a total of 27 categories. The category ‘Service by telephone and email / Health and sport’ featured a new assessment of studies involving gyms, regional leisure centres, the online shops of mattress manufacturers and statutory health insurance providers. The German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ) rated a total of 55 companies in this area using 726 service contacts. The quality of the service provided by each company was determined in secret telephone and email tests. The key criteria were wait times and the competence and friendliness of the employees.

According to those surveyed, SBK stood out for its very comprehensive approach to answering the queries put forth by the service contacts. All questions were answered in detail and additional relevant information was provided.
