With Meine SBK, you can make use of a number of exclusive online services free of charge from the comfort of your home or while out and about – services like:
Any SBK customer aged 15 or older can register for Meine SBK.
You just need your insurance number, postcode, date of birth and email address to register. You will receive a temporary password by email within just a few minutes. You can use this to start using essential services right away. In exceptional cases the email may end up in your spam folder. If you do not receive an email, please check your spam folder and mark the message as trustworthy/not spam. For your security, we ask that you change your password when you log in for the first time. You will also be sent an activation code by post within three to four working days after you register. As soon as you have entered this code in your online service, you will receive full access to your personal data and can use all functions and services of Meine SBK.
The code is sent to the address we have saved for you in our system. If you have moved house recently, it is best to clarify in advance whether SBK has already stored your new address in our system. In this case, please contact your personal consultant or our support team on 0800 0 725 725 9755.
Please check your entries. The insurance number, which begins with a capital letter, must not have any blank spaces. You can find your insurance number on your electronic health care card. It is a 10-digit number starting with a capital letter (e.g. M123456789). Have you moved house? If SBK has not yet saved your new address on our system, please let us know your new address before you register. Only then will you be able to register using your new postcode. Please contact your personal consultant or our support team on 0800 0 725 725 9755 to update your address.
Yes. Multiple insurants can use the same email address to register for Meine SBK, e.g. insurants with relatives who are covered by family insurance.
Yes. You can delete your access to Meine SBK at any time by logging in one last time and selecting 'Delete account' under ‘My data'.
To log in, enter your insurance number and the password that we sent to you by email. SBK’s top priority is the security of your data, so when you first log in using this temporary password, you will be prompted to change the password. Your new password must contain at least
The activation code will be sent to you by post within three to four working days after you register for the first time or if you request a new password. Enter your insurance number and password to log in. You will be prompted to enter the activation code the first time you log in. If you have already logged in several times without entering the activation code, you will find a tile on the start page, which allows you to enter the activation code. You also have the option of entering the activation code when you try to access individual functions.
For your own security, please do not forget to log out at the end of each visit to Meine SBK. You can log out by selecting ‘Logout’ at the top right of the page.
First check whether you have registered for Meine SBK; you may have done so a long time ago. If you have already registered, simply log in on the login page. You can request a new password there if necessary.

For security reasons, your account is locked for at least one hour after three unsuccessful attempts to log in. You can then try again after this period. We recommend requesting a new password using the ‘Forgotten password’ service.
If you have forgotten your password, you can request a new one online using the ‘Forgotten password’ function. You will then immediately receive a new temporary password by email. Use this password and your insurance number to log into the online service and start using some of the exclusive services there. After logging in you will be prompted to change the password. For your security you will also receive a new activation code by post at the address we have saved for you in our system within three to four working days. As soon as you have entered this activation code in Meine SBK, you can use all services of your online service and view your personal data. If you move house and have not yet told us your new address, please give it to us by telephone.
For data security reasons you receive the activation code by post. This ensures that only you have access to your personal data in your online service. The activation code cannot be sent by email as this may be seen by a third party.
Your data is secure in the data centre. The website is effectively protected by appropriate firewalls. The pages of Meine SBK are secured via SSL encryption. SSL stands for ‘Secure Socket Layer’ and refers to an Internet protocol for secure data transmission. This encryption was certified by GMO GlobalSign Ltd. Your data is protected from unauthorised third-party access by the password. SBK regularly commissions independent IT security experts to ensure that your data stays protected.
All browser versions from the past five years are supported. Please ensure that you are using an up-to-date version of an established browser. Using up-to-date browser versions helps keep your data secure, as in addition to new functions they often include security optimisations as well.

To print out documents, your browser’s pop-up blocker must be disabled. After disabling the pop-up blocker you may need to resubmit the form or – in the case of the SBK Bonus Scheme – request a replacement health file.

Yes. But you will need to enter your insurance number and – for the 'My personal consultant' section – your date of birth every time you use the app. Your data will only be saved on the app, secure and encrypted.
The Meine SBK app and also the 'My personal consultant' section are exclusively available to customers of Siemens-Betriebskrankenkasse (SBK). We use your insurance number and date of birth to verify that you are an SBK customer and to assign you your personal consultant.
If you uninstall the app, your Meine SBK account will still exist. You can continue to log into your account at https://meine.sbk.org/login/?L=1
